Self-care is a fundamental aspect of life that I advocate for passionately, as I firmly believe it plays a pivotal role in leading a fulfilling existence. Reflect on the last instance when you experienced pure joy. What activity were you engaged in? How did it impact your mindset and overall well-being? Identifying the source of that joy can provide insights into integrating similar practices into your daily routine. Imagine a world where everyone prioritizes their well-being and experiences genuine happiness. How might this collective shift positively influence society? For me, nurturing ourselves until our own cup of love overflows serves as a powerful catalyst for spreading positivity and compassion to those around us.
My self-care morning routine aligns closely with Jack Canfield’s renowned ‘Power Hour,’ comprising 30 minutes of meditation followed by 30 minutes of educational listening during exercise. Since adopting this routine in 2020, I have witnessed remarkable results, particularly in recent times. Building upon this foundation, I have integrated an additional 20 minutes of exercise and meditation into my daily regimen. The transformation in my focus, happiness, and overall satisfaction since incorporating this practice in September of 2023 has been truly extraordinary. Moreover, I have also prioritized time for myself, ensuring weekly walks in nature, daily reading of beloved books, and dedicated writing sessions for my upcoming solo book publication.
When we practice self-care regularly by prioritizing our health and well-being above all else, we lower cortisol, improve relationships, and advance our lives. I am proof-positive that making self-care a must is a way to support my emotional well-being, my physical health, and my financial stability.
